Exam Invigilator, Lafayette, Louisiana, USA

VICTVS is looking to recruit an English speaking exam invigilator in Lafayette, Louisiana, USA. Applicants must have the right to work in the United States. We need someone to be available to start work immediately. We provide all necessary training.

Working Hours:
Examination sessions will be 5-8 hours long and invigilators receive around 10 days’ notice on upcoming invigilator assignments. Due to the nature of this work, flexibility is required. Please note, this work is offered on a freelance or contractor basis and is not a full-time position.

Rate: $17 USD per hour

Role Description:
Proficiency in English is required. All training for invigilators will be in English, delivered online and remotely. The successful applicant will oversee professional, high-stakes examinations for adult candidates. They will oversee and supervise candidates during written and computer-based examinations. The role requires that all procedures and instructions are followed, in order to protect the integrity and security of the examinations and examination materials.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Preparation of assessment room and examination materials
• Recording and checking candidate identification
• Distributing the examination materials
• Marking examination papers (if required)
• Completing examination and candidate documentation
• Receiving and returning examination materials
• Communicating the examination process and instructions to all candidates
• Ensure examinations are carried out in accordance with our specified instructions and standards
